Sol Munki basically started when I was about 10 years old. I was attending a catholic school and the teacher had me thinking on a whole other level. We had religon class and one of the subjects in that class was purgatory and heaven. So me being the straight "A" smart ass that I was started thinking extremely outside the box.
So I was just on some wild stuff like man, monkeys go to heaven because they don't ever do anything bad or wrong, All they do is go around swinging from trees and eating bananas and shit. To me monkeys where the shit, they didn't have to go to school, clean up there room, they could shit on who ever they felt like and still be the cute little monkey.
So I went home and asked my moms do monkeys go to heaven when they die. And my moms, being the spiritual type like she is, was just like monkeys don't go to heaven, they don't have SOULS. I was baffled and kind of mad, and I replied,"how do you know monkeys don't go to heaven, they don't do anything wrong, all they do is eat bananas and you saying they can't go to heaven, how do you know if they have SOULS!" My mom calmed me down and was just like, God made monkeys without souls, only humans have souls.
SO basically since age 7 I have been on a quest to prove to my mom that monkeys do have souls. In 2002 after being forced to move back to the states from Dubai, because of the OIL WAR, I made this military cap that had SOL MUNKI stitched on the front of it, in a bright ass orange font.
SOL MUNKI meant Survivor of Life Manufacturing Unity Newness Knowledge and Individuality. Everybody complimented me on the hat so I was like you know what this is the new shit SOL MUNKI. So after going back over to Dubai and later graduating, I became a stockbroker, (YEA THATS WHY THEY CALL ME WALL ST.)
And to make a long story short, that was boring, I made money, opened a rare sneaker store with my little bro "Fruit" and the help of my girl Crystal. We labeled the shop SOLE MUNKI and that got crazy reviews and people loved our concept and movement, so we formed SOL MUNKI clothing. SOL MUNKI has now evolved into a strong brand with a strong following all across the globe, now the answer is YES, MUNKI's DO HAVE SOL's.
